“When Jesus Is In His Rightful Place, All Insecurity Will Fade Away And His Lasting Loveliness Will Become The Mark Of Your Life.” ~Leslie Ludy
Love Without Limits Book Review
Love without Limits is one of the most inspirational books I have ever read. This book shares the love story of a couple who is completely surrendered to Christ. Nick and his wife’s story is one that only God could have written. Their love for one another goes beyond a disability and what others think. As a person with a disability myself, this story gives me hope. This is a must read for everyone because no matter what circumstances you may be facing right now, this will encourage and challenge you. I look forward to their next book.

Finding Father Christmas/Engaging Father Christmas Book Review
About the Books:
My Thoughts:
Robin Jones Gunn is one of my favorite authors. I read her books as a young teenager, college student, and now as an adult. God has used her writing to encourage me in some very difficult seasons of life. Recently, two of her novellas were updated and released again to celebrate the upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie based on the books.
These novellas are two of my favorites, and reading them is a delight to my soul. Robin’s writing is very compelling, and makes the reader feel part of the story. Set at Christmas time in England, the books take you on the personal journey of a young woman looking for her father, but what she finds is more than she ever imagined. Filled with a heartwarming story of family and the right amount of romance, these books are a must read. Plan to read these when you have no other plans because you will not want to stop. I cannot wait to read her latest installment called “Kissing Father Christmas,” which I know will not disappoint. Be sure to stay tuned for my review of that one soon. Grab your favorite cup of tea, and your favorite cozy chair, and begin. Happy reading!
I was given these books by Netgalley in exchange for my review.

Greater Than Gold Book Review
About the Book:
One of America’s most heralded young divers, David Boudia twice went for Olympic gold, training obsessively and whole-heartedly for success. In his first Olympics, he failed miserably, not winning a single medal. Four years later saw a different story: he mounted the podium twice, winning both gold and bronze. The difference? In the intervening years, he’d changed the focus of his quest from seeking glory for himself to giving glory to God. In Greater Than Gold, Boudia provides a behind-the-scenes access to the rarefied world of world-class athletics while also showing readers that when they place their hope in God, they receive what they’ve been seeking all along.

My Thoughts:
I love sports, especially the Olympics and I have been a fan of David and his career for many years now. Over the past couple of years he has been vocal about his faith in Christ, and how his conversion changed his life forever. Therefore, I was excited to find out about his book release prior to the games in Rio. This book offers insight into David’s life as an athlete, and his journey in realizing that there are far greater things in life than winning a gold medal. David shares his testimony and admits his struggles as well as his joys. David’s story reminded me once again that no matter what circumstances we are facing — whether good or bad — Jesus is always enough. It is also a reminder that only Jesus can fill the empty void that so many try to fill with alcohol, drugs, relationships, fame, etc. None of these things will ever satisfy like Jesus. This book is a must read for all ages, especially if you are a fan of David’s, and this makes a great gift for the teenager in your life.
I was given a copy of this book from Netgalley and Thomas Nelson in exchange for my review.

God Bless Us Every One Book Review
About the book:
Charlene Dixon—called Charlie by family and friends—is devastated at the recent loss of her job.
For the last five years, the twenty-seven-year-old has blossomed as the activities director of an exclusive all-girls school. When Charlie arrives—broken and confused—Sis immediately puts her granddaughter to work behind the scenes of the local school’s Christmas play, A Christmas Carol. Charlie prickles at working with Dustin Kennedy, the drama teacher and her old crush from schooldays, but is even more put out at that the choice of the Dickens’ classic for the holiday performance. My Thoughts:
Eva Marie’s latest novella is a pure delight. Her story is filled with the comfort and joy that is desired during the holiday season. This book is well-written and focuses on the themes of forgiveness, faith, family, and trust. Charlie, who is the main character, revisits her hometown over the holidays and helps with the school play of “A Christmas Carol. ” However, as her time there progresses Charlie is confronted with some personal issues she needs to resolve and is challenged to take a deeper look behind the meaning of the play and apply it to her life. Also, Charlie reconnects with an old crush from school, and the reader gets to experience a bit of romance at Christmas time. This book is a heartwarming story, but has an incredible depth that other novellas similar to this often lack. Everson definitely gives her audience a well-rounded story that leaves the reader wanting more.
Every year around October I get so excited because I know that is when new Christmas books start releasing. This is my first Christmas book of the season, and it does not disappoint. This needs to be at the top of your holiday reading list. Once you dive into the story and meet the characters, you will not want to stop reading. This was the first book I have read by Everson, but it won’t be the last.

My Thoughts:
With this being Janine Mendenhall’s first novel, I was not sure what to expect. However, I was hooked after reading the first few pages. This is a delightful and sweet love story that leaves the reader with a little taste of Jane Austen. I absolutely loved it.
While the story was sweet, the main characters were not without their struggles. The main character Annette struggled with health problems and an assault by the man her mother insists that she marry. However, experiences have left her fearful and doubtful of God’s plan in all this. Also, the other main character, Peter is not without his struggles either. As they both enter one another’s life, the reader is taken on their journey with them as they overcome struggles and fall in love with one another. This book was not only entertaining from the start but it was also filled with much Godly wisdom that left me encouraged at the end. This is a must read and I am looking forward to the second book in this series.
